Bricked Redmi Note 3G - Gets detected in computer but nothing else.

Hi, thanks for taking a look! I've been trying to fix my phone for 2 days but haven't gotten anywhere.

My phone model: Redmi Note 3G with Mediatek MT6592.
TL;DR: Phone won't boot. No charging light. Recovery also not accessible. It's basically a brick, except it gets detected in Windows and I can flash it through SP Tools.

So, I started facing problems around a week back. Sometimes the keyboard would crash with the error, "com.android.XXXX failed", sometimes the chrome searchbox would fail with a similar error. On Friday, things escalated and my phone was dead when I woke up. When I booted it, it was stuck on the "MI". After some googling, I fixed the problem after removing the battery, holding Power+Vol- buttons for a few seconds, then putting back the battery. Sometimes this would work, sometimes it wouldn't. The phone was also slow and bugged.

I faced the same issue Saturday morning - dead phone when I woke up. Somehow I managed to boot it, but while taking a backup before doing a reset, the phone crashed and wouldn't boot up again. It was stuck on the MI Logo.
I booted into MI Recovery(Power + Vol+), and wiped the cache data. While doing "Wipe User Data", I got the error "Data Wipe Failed!"

I downloaded the proper ROM for flashing from en.miui.com/ thread-53193-1-1. html and flashed it, but flashing didn't help either, phone was still stuck. This was done using SP Tools v5.1620
I downloaded and flashed different compatible ROMs from the same link, but none worked.
After a lot more googling, I did a "Firmware Upgrade" from SP Tools. After that the phone is in the current state - No charging light. Recovery also not accessible. It's basically a brick, except it gets detected in Windows.

Since then, I've tried "Format All + Download" option in SP Tools, "Download" option, also tried "Format whole flash except Bootloader" option inside following a youtube tutorial.

I would've given up on the phone if it wasn't even getting detected in Windows, but it is. I'm not able to attached screenshot right now, but when I plug in the phone, it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, alternating between MediaTek USB Port driver and MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM driver. While flashing, it stays constant on MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM. I'm using USBDeview software.
